About Lansdowne

 

Lansdowne Equity Ventures started with one small mobile home park in the early 1970’s in Alberta. With strong relationships with tenants and hard work, the company grew and added more and more units to its portfolio. By the 1980’s, Lansdowne ventured into other cities in Western Canada and eventually opened its first park in Saskatchewan. Throughout all this a real hands on approach, which thrives to this day, has enabled Lansdowne to stay abreast of its customer’s needs and evolving desires.

 

Through the late 1980’s commercial buildings were added to the business mix. A separate division was started so that those commercial tenants could receive the same high degree of service that residential tenants had come to expect and cherish.

 

More and more commercial and residential properties were developed through the 1990’s and early 2000’s. Currently, Lansdowne owns and operates over 1800 residential units in 12 Mobile Home Parks and 9 Commercial buildings with a variety of International, National and local businesses. Lansdowne is the largest owner and operator of Mobile Home Parks in Canada.

 

As the company looks forward, an exciting mix has been added to the portfolio, one of residential areas for home development. The ground in High River was dug and concrete for sidewalks poured in the latter half of 2005, for this exciting subdivision development.
